2007 release ** "There is a lot of apocalyptic in “I Cum Blood In The Think Tank”. Apocalyptic, but with class, as the Broken Flag groups knew how to be, Ramleh and Toll first and foremost. Desperate screams coming from the most hidden infernal ravines, slow and muddy progressions, almost sludge in some moments, dull and rough noise beyond any level of safety. However, Lietterschpich manage to work on synthesis, ferrying that sound towards the crowded shores of the new American noise. And the mix could not be more explosive. “Stockfish” opens the dances in a scenographic way, with a typically industrial beat, simulating a sort of animalistic incest between Wolf Eyes and Cromagnon. Primitivism is in fact the other adjective that comes to mind, listening to these deviant mini-suites. Primitivism in the form of martial but repetitive rhythms - do they not know how to do otherwise? - and layers upon layers of dully self-evident noise (“Mud And Fun”, “Malevolent Recreation Celebration”). Yet within the folds of this maximalist music, iridescent nuances are hidden, if you know how to grasp them. Starting from the continuous variations in register of “A Horse And A Walk In The Park”, capable of condensing twenty years of industrial/power electronics in a path that starts from Whitehouse and arrives at the first Black Dice, passing through Skullflower and Grey Wolves. And again in the second part of the album, certainly less obsessive, where the metallurgical hell is tempered in passages with greater musicality (so to speak...) such as “Mire Biol”, “Celebration Segregation“ and “One Thing Led Me To The Hill”. But overall “I Cum Blood In The Think” is a listening experience that is nothing short of annihilating."
