Blod

Blod is the solo project of Gustaf Dicksson, a musician from Gothenburg, Sweden, and a member of the collective Enhet För Fri Musik. Blod's records are built from drifting organ tones, hand percussion, flute and synthesizer, and often return to religious themes, which Dicksson has linked to the place of Christianity in his own life. With Missväxt the sound turned toward an older folk tradition. Dicksson, formerly a chef, runs the Gothenburg record shop and label Discreet Music with Matthias Andersson, and belongs to the circle around the label Förlag För Fri Musik.
