Carlos Nino
Carlos Niño is a Los Angeles percussionist, producer, DJ and radio host. He has spent many years connecting the city's spiritual jazz, ambient, electronic and hip-hop scenes, and he is best known for the collective project Carlos Niño & Friends and for his work as co-producer of André 3000's New Blue Sun (2023). Niño began on air at KPFK 90.7 FM and co-founded the online station Dublab in 1999. He formed Build An Ark in 2001, worked in Ammoncontact with Fabian Alston, and co-founded Hu Vibrational with Adam Rudolph and Hamid Drake.
