“Integral” marks the second collaboration between German electronic music pioneer Asmus Tietchens and sound artist Fabio Perletta. The album follows 2017's “Deflections”, released by German label aufabwegen. Recorded by Fabio Perletta and Asmus Tietchens, respectively at Tokonoma Studio, Roseto degli Abruzzi, and Audiplex Studio E, Hamburg, between October 2022 and August 2023. Artwork by Fabio Perletta. Nessun Legame con la Polvere
"This release borrows its title ‘Nessun Legame con la Polvere’ (No Attachment To Dust) from a Zen story as well as from a small wooden box, namely one of ten sculptures of my project ‘I Fiori Non Vedono Mai I Propri Semi’ (Flowers Don't Ever See Their Own Seeds). Interstitial Spaces
Interstitial Spaces (F90111) is the follow-up to Fabio Perletta’s 2013 CD Field: Atom(s) Entropy. With this new work Perletta investigates the physical phenomenon of the “Interstitial Space” which is the point in a crystal lattice where the perfection of the atomic structure is broken or suspended resulting in open spaces for unexpected resonances.

The project began with Turra inviting Perletta to re-work his piece "Texture.Vitra" (Koyuki, 2008), a sound study featuring recordings collected at various architectural spaces designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando. Deflections
Fabio Perletta and Asmus Tietchens’ hermetic micro-cosmos of Deflections unfolds by exploring instability and physical decay of sound. Built upon liminal forms and atonal passages, the six near-silent pieces of the work traverse empty space by means of elementary sonic emissions and drifting nano-structures. Among sound collisions and evanescent masses, the almost immaterial yet corporeal nature of Deflections, embodies sound in its most subliminal and contradictory form.
