Francis Plagne

Francis Plagne is a musician from Melbourne, Australia, who has performed live regularly for many years. His work moves between songwriting, group improvisation, short instrumental pieces and domestic musique concrète, much of it recorded at home on tape. As a singer he uses a high, wavering voice that stays close to falsetto. He has also studied and taught art history. Plagne has released records on Black Truffle, Horn of Plenty, Kye Records and Penultimate Press, as well as on his own micro-label Mould Museum.
