Jack Micheline

Jack Micheline (1929-1998) was an American Beat poet, born Harvey Martin Silver in the Bronx to a Jewish family. He lived as a poetic wanderer across America, befriending Kerouac and Ginsberg. His collections include "River of Red Wine" and "North of Manhattan." His raw, spontaneous poetry celebrated outcasts and counterculture, making him an authentic voice of the Beat Generation and underground literary scene.
