The Deviants
The Deviants were a London rock group formed in late 1966 by singer and writer Mick Farren (1943-2013) in the Ladbroke Grove underground scene, first under the name The Social Deviants. Their records mixed psychedelic rock, garage noise and proto-punk aggression. The band is best known for its three late-1960s albums and as the group from which the Pink Fairies emerged. The Deviants debuted with Ptooff! (1968), later taken up by Decca, then released Disposable (1968, Stable) and The Deviants 3 (1969, Transatlantic).
