Harbinger Sound

Violence
A limited vinyl reissue for just about the most scarce release from the legendary Broken Flag catalogue. Originally released as a cassette back in early 1982, 'Violence' is a solo recording carried out by Ramleh and Broken Flag's Gary Mundy. These recordings were captured just before the formation of Ramleh, and his later solo workings as Kleistwahr. Simple, crude and effective Power Electronics created with the same equipment that would be used on those later classic recordings. 'Violence' is a…

A Safe Substitute
Originally released on cassette by Snatch Tapes back in 1980 or there about but now re-issued on red vinyl by Harbinger. Had heard a couple of the tracks before on previous Storm Bugs comps but nice to have the whole original tape as it was meant to be sequenced. Also good set of liner notes detailing all the recording process. If you haven’t heard any Bugs before this makes a great introduction.Slightly more eloquently this what the Mutant Sounds said about A Safe Substitute ‘…this is eve…
Live At Lace
This version will be almost a complete replica of the Japanese version of the original album." Paste-on cover with black and white inserts of numerous performance flyers and photographs. Crucial early-noise document from the Los Angeles Free Music Society heyday. "AIRWAY is a brainchild of Joe Potts. Here are COMMANDMENTS OF AIRWAY: AIRWAY is a hole through which our conscious passes. Sound of AIRWAY is not an object. Sound of AIRWAY has no fixed location. Sound of AIRWAY has no fixed loc…
Lon Guy
Five tracks by these masters of Noise! Shit-your-pants loud, or just another day at the office for Incapacitants. Tracklist: 1. Take it! 2. Go! 3. Say! 4. After Drunken Interview (In Memory of Koji Tano) 5. Club 24 Forever (Live at Club 24 20070128)
Cacophony: 1979-1981
Double CD archival overview of this obscure Australian band from the late 70s. They released 2 7" in 1979, including the legendary debut Instant Classic, which was a strange combo of primitive punk and dub. Those singles, plus the later LP from 1981 Transformational Salts make up the first disc. A small piece of near forgotten history, comprehensively recalled for consumption. The two discs contain both the scarce 7"s, the album, and two live sets. All digitally mastered by The Slugfuckers. It's…
Nattering naybobs of negativity
The second in the series of Harbinger Sound's efforts to present the Smegma back catalog. This album originally came out in the UK only back in 1987 and is backed by the studio side from the 1988 cassette release, Morass. Twenty-one tracks in total. Dedicated to Tom (Pig Champion) Roberts. Limited to #1000 copies. CD features an eight-page booklet with photos and a pre-1988 Smegma discography
Order: Spoil The Entire State
Incredible archival recordings from the 1980s by the noise orchestra of Brad Laner (Savage Republic) and Jim Goddal (Medicine, Whitehouse), featuring LAFMS superstars such as Solid Eye’s Rick Potts and Joseph Hammer and unknown San Fernando Valley noise geniuses. Epic spontaneous compositions created with tape recorders, short wave radios, cheap synths, random orchestral instruments and circuit-bent gear—all unleashed in front of an unsuspecting Wall Of Voodoo audience.
