2003 release (RARE) ** "Matthew Sperry was a great bass player and human being. He had an absolutely original approach to prepared double bass - like no one else, really second only to Barry Guy. He had a strong technical command of the instrument as well. He played on some Tom Waits albums, but was focused on improvised music."
