*200 copies limited edition* Mabe Fratti is an experimental cello player from Guatemala, currently based in Mexico City. Mabe’s unique and courageous sound has made her one of the most promising new acts in the experimental music scene around the world. We present a new edition, first time on colored vinyl, of her debut album that originally was released by us in 2020, a year after it’s original digital release. A very well received and respected album, Pies Sobre La Tierra, is a unique and brilliant approach to the marriage between acoustic instruments and electronic machines. An essential album that keeps finding new listeners. This new exclusive version includes new artwork with a color variant curated by the artist.
Release notes
Pies Sobre la Tierra hace referencia al espacio mental como un lugar de relativa libertad e ilusión: como este interactúa con lo tangible. Inscribed around the record's groove there are the words "Hace frio sin ti pero se vive" a quote by Salvadorian poet, Roque Dalton, which translates to "It's cold without you, but it's manageable."
