s, housed in a gatefold sleeve. "Volume 3 contains three albums sides which include Jackson C. Frank's demos for his unreleased second album, Marlene and his final recordings from 1997, which were to be part of a new record before his passing in 1999
Format
Packaged in a die-cut gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves. Sticker on shrink-wrap also refers to this release as "Marlene / Recordings: 1990's."
Tracks I1 to J5: "Mekeel Sessions," recorded in May, 1975, in Lake Hill, New York. Demos for Frank's unreleased second album "Marlene."
Tracks J6 to K7: "The Kitchen Tapes," recorded in 1997 in Woodstock, New York. Frank's final recordings which were to be part of a new record before his passing in 1999.
The song titles of K2 & K6 appear to be swapped — a mistake that persists from the previous [r1113261] release. The release itself incorrectly lists the tracks as:
K2: Half The Distance
K6: Night Of The Blues (Version 2)
