Seven pieces made in 2014 and 2015, half psychoacoustic experiment and half Feldman. The booklet is a long conversation between the two players that runs from the Brisbane underground of the 1980s to Chicago in the 90s, and includes what it was like working directly with Alvin Lucier and La Monte Young.

CD, limited edition of 300, in thick recycled board with silver hot stamped text, mastered by Lachlan Carrick. Anthony Burr on clarinets and an ARP 2600, Anthony Pateras on piano and prepared piano. Seven pieces made between 2014 and 2015, half psychoacoustic experiment and half Feldman-shaped acoustic writing.

Burr is a large part of why this record sits here. He is known to many for the 2002 Antiopic recordings of Alvin Lucier's music, made with the cellist Charles Curtis, and he has also worked with Jim O'Rourke, John Zorn and Laurie Anderson, keeps a long-running duo with the Icelandic bassist Skuli Sverrisson, works as an engineer and producer, and teaches at UC San Diego.

As with everything on Immediata, the music comes with a substantial text, in this case an extended conversation between the two. It runs from the Brisbane underground of the 1980s through the experimental rock of Chicago in the 90s to hip hop and the marketing of classical music, and includes their recollections of working directly with Alvin Lucier and La Monte Young.
