CD in digipack, limited edition, with liner notes. Two pieces by Noah Jenkins, both played by the trombonist Riley Leitch.

The title piece lays a live trombone over recordings of Leitch playing in situ in three places on the north side of Chicago: Jenkins's own apartment in Rogers Park, the shore of Lake Michigan at Loyola Beach, and the reverberant sanctuary of St Vincent De Paul. Each space shapes the tone differently and brings its own background with it. As the recordings are cut between and overlaid, the live trombone sits just in front of them, marking out the room it is actually being played in against three that exist only as recordings.

Rotations Placement: Providence Everywhere works the other way. A live-looping setup layers and replaces tones in a cycling pattern, an arpeggio slowed until it stops reading as an arpeggio at all, gathering into a just intonation chorale with a halo of overtones sitting above it.
