Few contemporary industrial acts are spoken of in such highly reverential terms as Alberich, the solo project of underground super-producer Kris Lapke. While Lapke himself may best be known for his production and mastering work, both for such diverse sounding acts like Prurient, Nothing and the Haxan Cloak to his audio restoration work for Coum Transmissions and Shizuka, Alberich has achieved a cult on par with many of the legends he works with.
Lapke’s diverse contributions as a producer are re…

**CD version, to be released in late June 2020** Recorded at Creek house, Swanyard and Bushmead studio in 1995-1998. "In 1995 and before I was employed to take tracks home and manipulate the streams to create new content. The way I did this was a process I called “Rate/Stretch, I won’t go into details, but it was very successful at creating whole new content. From these experiments came the “scorn“ dreamspace mix, and much of Black Light District. After we came back from New Orleans working on t…

Skin / Glove is the second LP by Belgian musician Mathieu Serruys, following the release of his B.A.A.D.M. debut On Germaine Dulac back in 2014. Compiled over the course of a fortnight, the record features material recorded over the past five years: creaks of ice buckling under heat, thick hums like nauseating headaches, plumes of evaporated organ hymns, frostbitten crackles of dying tape loops. These disparate sources are unified by the pervasive corrosion of pain and time, which presses into t…
