** Limited edition of 500 copies pressed on sun yellow vinyl. Housed in full colour gatefold sleeve with hype sticker ** Continuing the 'first time on vinyl' purge of the Acid Mothers Temple archives. Here's the band's classic 2006 album finally available on double vinyl for the first time. Housed in full colour gatefold sleeve. 'Myth of the Love Electrique' is another scorcher from these ridiculously prolific psych masters. This album is notable for being the debut of their newest band member: …
*In process of stocking* Released towards the end of 1989, La Mosca was the last job by the mythical Eduardo Mateo (1940-1990), one of the most influential artists in Uruguayan music. Although Mateo was a remarkable percussionist and was very well known for his short songs, with simple lyrics, where Uruguayan roots are mixed with Brazilian, African, Indian and Arabic influences, on his last album, his work took a turn on a brand new direction. Alongside the multiinstrumentalist and sound enginee…
Mythos was formed in 1969 on the initiative of Stephan Kaske (flute, keyboards, vocals, guitar), who found two comrades-in-arms in Harald Weisse (bass) and Thomas Hildebrand (drums). Various performances impressed label boss and talent scout Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser so much that the band was able to release their debut album on the Ohr label in 1972. This album was also re-recorded and remastered from the original analog tapes. Best sound!
The roots of 80s English psychedelic freak band The Tryp lie in a hoax perpetuated by Steve Lines’ indie mag Mardenbeat, based in the town of Calne in the Marden Delta, which reviewed a gig by a non-existent band; former JP Sunshine main man Rod Goodway and partner Christine Cotter then gave flesh to the beast with Lines and Paul Ricketts of Unhinged mag, cutting My Brain Collapsed! as an exploration of mushroom-fuelled mental instability. First issued on cassette label Mardentapes and later by …
After their excellent Polydor debut suffered from lack of promotion, Second Hand’s sophomore LP surfaced on Mushroom, the noncommercial label formed by Vic Keary, Mike Craig, and Neil Richmond, allowing for unfettered experimentation. With George Hart on bass, new frontman Rob Elliott and drummer Kieran O’Connor on vibraphones, Ken Elliott takes melodic command on Mellotron, piano and organ, the disc a freakily esoteric juggernaut. This lost masterwork here comes with rare bonus tracks ‘Dip It O…
Obscure prog rockers Second Hand began as the Next Collection, formed at a south London secondary school; engineer/manager Vic Keary scored them a contract with Polydor as the Moving Finger, but their legendary debut LP was credited to Second Hand, due to a rival Moving Finger. Channelling psych and spacey acid hues, there is blues-rock underpinning Bob Gibbons’ guitar and keyboardist Ken Elliott helps aim the sound towards deep space; this edition features rare tracks ‘James in the Basement’ an…
Released in 1980 but apparently recorded at some point in the mid-'70s, before Brainticket disbanded, Adventure sounds like the results of an all-night jam session caught on tape and sliced somewhat arbitrarily into songs. All the tunes have very similar instrumental textures, with a distinctively gurgling synthesizer twiddling along at the center of most of them. The opening "Adventure, Pt. 1" is probably the most interesting segment, a 19-minute combination of electronics with tuned percussion…
*2022 stock* "Electronic music pioneers Brainticket release titled Zürich/Lausanne is a two disc set highlighting two concerts from 1983 and 1984. The Zürich concert was recorded at the Computer and Musik Symposium on February 4, 1983 and features three long tracks. Playing that night was Belgian keyboardist Joel Vandroogenbroeck (flute, synthesizer, electric piano), Hans Deyssenroth (electric piano, computer), Willy Seefeldt (electric piano) and Bruno Spoerri (lyricon). The first track “Flight …
*2022 stock* Brainticket have almost completely abandoned the rock orientation that they presented in songs such as 'Waching You', 'Places of Light', 'Black Sand', 'Like a Place in the Sun' and 'Coco Mary', with the single exception being the track 'Egyptian Kings'. Their sound on this album is less striking, less groovy and less immediate and more more spacey and trance-inducing, more electronic and more acoustically eclectic.
Beginning with the song 'Egyptian Kings', the album seems to embark …
*2022 stock* Psychonaut is more relaxed and has far less electronic elements than either Brainticket's first record, Cottonwoodhill, or the album that followed, Celestial Ocean. Though the record is more straightforward and song-oriented, it still has progressive and experimental elements that keep it from sounding too much like anything else. If anything, the group is not quite focused on any one style on this record, throwing in everything from the ethnic-influenced folk of "Radagacuca" and "O…
Originally released in 1971, Mighty Baby's second and, for nearly a quarter of a century, final release is a deft, understated, and often magical synthesis of any number of musical strains. Stepping further away from the group's louder roots in the Action and taking in everything from an embrace of Sufism to further explorations ranging from Gram Parsons and the Band's country-rock to jazz and obscure folk, A Jug of Love is all the more remarkable for being a rushed effort, recorded in barely a …

** Edition of 500 numbered copies, 180 gr. vinyl ** Rare and sought after 1979 opus by Italy’s I Signori Della Galassia. “Iceman” was released in 1979 and has been long out of print for over 40 years fetching very high prices on the collector’s market. I Signori Della Galassia (translated as The Men Of Galaxy) is best described as a sonic hybrid of space disco/cosmic meets Italian progressive pop/rock. They were founded in Savona in the late 70s. Played with analog gear such as a variety of synt…

Hawkwind's debut album is an extensive mix of psychedelic and progressive rock, resulting in the so called space-rock. As one of the pioneers in this genre they recorded a bunch of deep soundscapes, combining the best of different genres. This debut can be seen as the highlight of their career, capturing the true spirit of this raw and communal musical movement.

The legendary NWWish album from 1972. Recorded at Studio Decibel in 1971, this CD reissue adds two bonus live tracks from 1972. From Dan Söderqvist's notes: "We have known each other since 1968, when we met in our home neighborhood Västra Frölunda, Gothenburg. We listened to everything; Perotinus heavenly choirs from the 13th century, Messien's heavy works for orchestra, Beefheart's Safe as Milk, with it's surreal lyrics, King Crimson's endless string of chords, the beautiful acoustic Third Ear …
