Blue Lake

Blue Lake is the project of Jason Dungan, an American multi-instrumentalist and instrument builder from Texas who lives in Copenhagen. Dungan builds his own zithers, the first adapted from an old one found at a Swedish flea market, and plays them alongside guitars, clarinets, organ drones and drum machines. His instrumental music draws on folk, drone and jazz, and he is best known for the 2023 album Sun Arcs.
