Control Unit

Control Unit is the Italian duo of guitarist Ninni Morgia and vocalist and electronic musician Silvia Kastel. The pair made raw industrial music with guitar, bass, synthesizer, beats and voice, close in spirit to early Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire. The duo is best known for The Fugitives and for Elegy For Rusted Souls, recorded with the San Francisco group Factrix. Control Unit released The Fugitives on the Apulian label Backwards in 2012, a four-track LP in 300 copies with a silkscreened sleeve.
