Dave Phillips
Dave Phillips, who signs his work dp, was born in Zug, Switzerland, in 1969 to a British father and a French mother, and lives in Zürich. He co-founded the Swiss grindcore band Fear of God and has worked solo since 1987. He later joined the Schimpfluch-Gruppe, the loose circle around Rudolf Eb.er and Joke Lanz devoted to psycho-physical tests and actions. Phillips describes his output as ritual protest music, with ecological concerns and an idea he calls humanimalism at its centre.
