Ekkozone

Ekkozone is a Danish ensemble formed in 2013 by the percussionist and conductor Mathias Reumert, who leads it. It works between classical, world and experimental music and has played at rock and jazz festivals. The group has performed a large part of Steve Reich's output, including Music for 18 Musicians. Its Mode album Sextet & Double Sextet pairs Reich's Sextet (1984) with the Pulitzer Prize-winning Double Sextet (2007), and received the Diapason d'Or in 2018. It appeared on CD and, for the first time, on LP.
