Ellen Arkbro
Ellen Arkbro is a Swedish composer, sound artist and musician working with precison-tuned harmony in frameworks such as just intonation and meantone temperament. Having primarily composed for and performed on pipe organ, Arkbro's work also includes pieces for many other forms of instrumentation, including work for combinations of acoustic instruments and sound synthesis. In these instances, Arkbro makes use of algorithmic sound synthesis to enhance the harmonic textures of acoustic instruments
