Francesco De Masi
Francesco De Masi (1930-2005) was an Italian composer and conductor from Rome who wrote music for more than 200 films and television productions. He worked on spaghetti westerns, sword-and-sandal epics, gialli, horror and action films, and is best remembered for his western scores, written in a style of his own rather than in the manner of Ennio Morricone. De Masi studied composition at the San Pietro a Maiella Conservatory in Naples with his uncle Achille Longo, and came to film music by assisting Longo on a score. His credits include Enzo G.
