Francesco Paladino

Country: Italy

Francesco Paolo Paladino is an Italian composer and filmmaker active in the Italian underground since the 1980s. With Pier Luigi Andreoni he worked in A.T.R.O.X. and The Doubling Riders. His music draws on electronics, found sounds and spoken word. Paladino and Andreoni made Aeolyca from recordings of Mario Ciccioli's wind-driven sculptures, a project born at the Time Zones festival; it came out on cassette in 1989 on the American label Violet Glass Oracle and was reissued on LP by Soave in 2018. The two also worked with Roger Eno and Riccardo Sinigaglia.
