German Army

German Army is an experimental project from California led by Peter Kris, active since 2011. The project mixes beat-driven exotica with analog effects work built around heavy use of delay, and most of its output has come out on cassette. Peter Kris works in the group with Norm Heston, who handles beat sequencing and keyboards, while the Peter Kris name is kept for more guitar-centred records. German Army releases have appeared on Opal Tapes, Muzan Editions, Discrepant, Yerevan Tapes, Tabs Out, Chondritic Sound and Phinery, among others.
