Julia Reidy

Julia Reidy (also credited as Jules Reidy) is an Australian guitarist, composer and improviser based in Berlin. Reidy works mainly with acoustic 12-string and processed electric guitars, adding electronics, found sounds and auto-tuned voice, and is known for long, finger-picked solo pieces that drift into dense, shifting textures. Reidy played mainly electric guitar before taking up the 12-string, and moved to Berlin from Australia. All Is Ablaze, later issued on vinyl by Feeding Tube Records, holds two long solo pieces for 12-string and electric guitar.
