K11 is the project of Pietro Riparbelli, an Italian sound artist, composer and philosopher based in Livorno, Tuscany. Riparbelli uses shortwave radio receivers as his main sound source, capturing radio signals inside specific places, often sites with occult or sacred history, and shaping them into pieces tied to the idea of instrumental transcommunication.
