“Över mitt ögas dag” by composer Lisa Stenberg and poet David Zimmerman is a collaborative text and sound work in which both past and future are constantly gravitating towards the present – a “now” as raging as it is inept.
The glacial electronics of Lisa Stenberg slowly grinds through both David Zimmerman’s lyrical segments and the adapted fragments of Vilhelm Ekelund’s ancient grave epigrams, all the while lamenting;

*2025 stock* Monument from Swedish composer Lisa Stenberg was composed during residency in Athens with additional recordings in Osnabrück, originally commissioned by the art festival documenta 14, as part of a collaboration between KSYME CMRC, documenta 14, Elektronmusikstudion and Fylkingen, to restore and reactivate KSYME-CMRC’s rare synthesizer EMS Synthi 100 that had not been in working condition for more than 20 years.
