Lussuria

Lussuria is the project of the American musician Jim Mroz, closely tied to the Hospital Productions label. Mroz makes dark ambient and industrial music built from drones, metallic textures and field recordings, and he has used chant bowls, dry ice and a skull damaru among his sound sources. After American Babylon (2012), Industriale Illuminato (2014) was the first Lussuria album conceived as a standalone record rather than compiled from tapes. Scarlet Locust Of These Columns came out on cassette on Hospital. Later records include Three Knocks (2019) and Under Crumbled Stairs (2024).
