Mai Mai Mai

Mai Mai Mai is the solo project of Toni Cutrone, an Italian musician from Calabria who has long been active in the noise scene of Rome. His records mix drones, electronics, field recordings and samples with the folklore, ritual and sound archives of Southern Italy and the Mediterranean. Cutrone also runs the Roman noise label NO=FI Recordings. Cutrone gathered his early albums under the name Mediterranean Trilogy: Theta (Boring Machines, 2013), Δέλτα (Yerevan Tapes, 2014) and Φ.
