Marc Chan
Marc Chan is a composer and pianist born in Singapore, with a doctorate in composition from the Manhattan School of Music. He also writes for the theatre as composer, lyricist and bookwriter. His music has been performed at Carnegie Hall, Le Poisson Rouge and the Smithsonian. On Mode, the pianist Rob Haskins plays his solo piano work My Wounded Head 3, which takes its title and some melodic material from the chorale “O Haupt voll Blut und Wunde” (“O Sacred Head Now Wounded”).
