Mark Van Hoen

Mark Van Hoen is an English electronic musician born in London. He is best known for Locust, the project he started on R&S and its Apollo imprint in the early 1990s with analogue synthesizers and tape machines, and for ambient and drone records under his own name on labels such as Touch and Editions Mego. Mark Van Hoen released Locust albums including Truth Is Born of Arguments (1995), Morning Light (1997) and Wrong (Touch, 2001), and revived the name with Louis Sherman for You'll Be Safe Forever (Editions Mego, 2013).
