Massimo Carozzi

Massimo Carozzi is an Italian sound recordist, sound designer and musician, born in 1967 and based in Bologna. Since 1994 he has worked on the relations between sound and image, text and space, making sound for theatre, documentaries, short films and installations. He is a founding member of the art group ZimmerFrei. Carozzi set up ZimmerFrei in 2000 with Anna Rispoli and Anna de Manincor. He has played in the projects El Muniria, Weight And Treble, Auriga, Phonorama and Auna, and has worked with Andrea Belfi, Valerio Tricoli, Claudio Rocchetti and Muna Mussie.
