Música Urbana was a short-lived Spanish jazz‑rock band formed in Barcelona in the mid-70s by composer and multi-instrumentalist Joan Albert Amargós. Their aim was to forge a distinctly Catalan progressive-rock identity—rooted in Mediterranean and Andalusian traditions rather than Anglophone influences.
