MV & EE

MV & EE is the duo of Matt Valentine and Erika Elder, partners in life and music who live in southern Vermont, near Brattleboro. Active since the early 2000s, they play a loose mix of Appalachian folk, blues, Indian raga forms and psychedelic rock, often described as lunar ragas. They are known for a large run of limited releases and for a changing cast of guests around the core pair. Valentine previously played in the Tower Recordings. The couple run their own imprint, Child of Microtones, which has issued many of their records.
