Orphax

Orphax is the drone and minimal music project of Sietse van Erve, a Dutch musician and trained drummer based in Amsterdam. Sietse van Erve makes slow, often microtonal drone pieces with an organic, lo-fi sound, and his concerts include improvisation. He also runs Moving Furniture Records, an Amsterdam label for experimental electronic and electroacoustic music, and has curated concerts at STEIM, De Ruimte and OCCII. Sietse van Erve has released records such as Saxophone Studies, Piano Music, En de stilstaande tijd and Continuation.
