Sandy Denny
Sandy Denny (1947-1978) was an English singer and songwriter from London who sang with Fairport Convention, led the short-lived group Fotheringay and made a series of solo albums for Island Records. Her best known song is "Who Knows Where the Time Goes?", and she is the only guest vocalist ever to appear on a Led Zeppelin album. Denny sang briefly with the Strawbs, joined Fairport Convention in 1968 and left at the end of 1969 to form Fotheringay with Trevor Lucas, later her husband.
