Sewer Election

Sewer Election is the noise project of Dan Johansson, a Swedish experimental musician rooted in the Gothenburg underground. His work uses tape decks, cassette and reel-to-reel loops, broken records, metal objects, electronics and field recordings, ranging from sparse, fleeting pieces to abrasive and heavy noise. He is known for crude, hypnotic sound works built largely from tape manipulation. Johansson has been making sound works for about two decades and has also played in the groups Neutral, Enhet För Fri Musik and Organ Of Corti.
