Stefan Roigk

Stefan Roigk, born in 1974, is a Berlin-based artist who studied fine art with a focus on sound in Hannover under Ulrich Eller. Sound is the starting point of his practice, which moves between acousmatic composition, installation, graphic scores and text-sound pieces, often built from collaged everyday fragments. Since 2010 he has worked regularly with the visual artist Daniela Fromberg, with whom he made the LP Unfamiliar Home for Edition Telemark. He belongs to the collective Errant Sound, and his releases include Sprachmusik on Tochnit Aleph. The book and double CD de-COMPOSED, published by Errant Bodies Press in 2023, documents his work from 2005 onward.
