Teletopa

The electro-acoustic improvisation group Teletopa was founded in Sydney in late 1970 by David Ahern, Peter Evans and Roger Frampton and was one of two sub-groups to emerge out of the parent organisation AZ Music during the period 1970-72. (The other group was the Sunday Ensemble which was formed in mid-1971 comprised of both ‘trained’ and ‘untrained’ musicians, initially to perform such works by Cornelius Cardew as Treatise and Schooltime Special.)
