Tuxedomoon

Tuxedomoon is an experimental group formed in San Francisco in 1977 by Steven Brown and Blaine L. Reininger, who met in an electronic music class at City College. The band grew out of the Angels of Light collective and mixed post-punk and electronics with film and performance. After a spell in New York the group moved to Europe and eventually settled in Brussels. Bassist Peter Principle (died 2017), performance artist Winston Tong and filmmaker Bruce Geduldig (died 2016) joined in the early years, and Luc Van Lieshout came in later.
