Now Voks is finally presenting his first full-length album (though only 30 minutes long this is epic in Voks' universe - both 3"CD's included 10 tracks each within 20 minutes). Vaks Vanskab Ak
Voks has previously released his music on an Ed Davenport 12" and comp, the Xart Hybrid comp, as part of the Goodiepal's Goodiebag/Demonbag 7" series on V/VM and via the Datamusik.dk website. Voks grew up in a remote village near a big forest north of Copenhagen, Denmark. When not wandering the forests alone Voks composed music with his familys mac, taperecorders and various instruments found in toyshops and around his familys house. Second 10-track (!) Mini-CD by John Peel (RIP) favourite Voks from Copenhagen on the Dekorder label after the (sold out) "Vaks Vanskab Ak". More incredible rocking electronic miniatures inspired by synthrock and Rock in Opposition acts like The Residents, Art Bears and Der Plan combined with influences from Southeast Asia, China, Africa, et al.
