*75 copies limited edition* Since the 1990s, Nathan Berlinguette has been performing and releasing a prolific range of experimental music. Throughout the years, he has shared the stage with bands such as The Haters, Scott Arford, John Wiese, Geronimo, Locrian and Pharmakon. Some of Berlinguette's projects include 5/5/2000 along with Travis Ryan (Cattle Decapitation) as well as 3 different projects with his ongoing musical accomplice Ryan Unks, which includes their latest effort - a new band inspired by their love for Krautrock, noise, and psych rock called Alma Maru.
Berlinguette has released a handful of solo albums that range from sample-based textural soundscapes to dark ambient and noise, beginning with 2006's "The Dreams of M. Kourie" on Chrome Peeler Records. Music En Berlin is the latest solo endeavor and started out in early 2021 with a release on Black Horizons titled "The Lost Dreams of Em." This second and latest collection of songs, "Animal," forms a soundtrack of sorts. Composed as an imagined accompaniment to a short story Berlinguette wrote, the music is broken into 7 pieces, or "scenes." The album also features guest contributions from WT Nelson (Geronimo, Bastard Noise, Emperor of the North, etc.) and Mackenzie Kourie (Nilserver) and cover art by Joseba Agirrezabalaga.
