"Who doesn't know the crazy rock of Skiantos? But Skiantos are only the epicenter of the rock earthquake that has shaken Bologna for two years, an unprecedented explosion in Italy. Even if they share a desecrating and anti-ideological streak, the many Bologna rock groups "not everyone recognizes themselves in the crazy idea, explaining a wide and varied range of proposals. They are brought together by the rejection of political positions, of old models of coexistence, a position towards reality and a way of transposing it into music which in England, perhaps, would have been Punk. In this sense, Bologna is the first experience of true Italian rock. The story is told here, which begins in the cellars, passes through the 77 movement and, after the dissolution of the latter, reaches its peak on 2 April 1979, with a collective concert: Bologna Rock. Together with the narration, written and photographic documents of the hottest moments are collected, and the lyrics of the most significant songs."
