Barbara Moore's seminal 1981 library music masterpiece Bright And Shining receives its first-ever vinyl reissue, limited to 750 copies worldwide on 140g vinyl. This breezy, dreamy fusion of jazzy soul grooves, Fender Rhodes, pumping bass, and celestial male-female vocal harmonies captures "Highly Addictive Happiness Music" at its finest.
The album opens with the sophisticated title track "Bright And Shining," a mid-tempo head-nod strut featuring sax and guitars. Standouts include sunny "Fly Me High," moody "Affluence," lively "Going On Holiday," sultry "Alto Sex," and uplifting "Stay With Me" on Side A; Side B delivers bright "Feel Fine," refined "Canon," laconic "Smooth And Soft," strolling "Real Thing," sax-led "Voice Over Sax," and carefree "Feeling Free."
Pressed at Record Industry in Holland with remastering by Simon Francis and sleeve restoration by Cicely Balston, Bright And Shining arrives February 27, 2026, via Be With Records in the Jazz / Modern Classical Music genre. Originally for Sylvester Music Company, originals fetch over £300, making this exclusive pre-sale LP a collector's grail.
