*100 copies limited edition* Jukka Rintamäki composes music for video games, films, and theater. He has a background in indie music with the band Silverbullit and has composed music for the video games Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. In recent years, he has also produced and performed live with the band Kite. The music is mostly acoustic, featuring the piano, cello, and alto horn. However it also incorporates some electronic music.
“The album is inspired by the book Terre des hommes by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. I found the book at a used bookstore and bought it mostly because it was written by the author of The Little Prince. But after just a couple of chapters, I realized that the book spoke to me very poignantly. It put into words thoughts about a meaningful existence, about creation and creativity, that I’d had for a long time but hadn’t been able to articulate.”
The album was recorded at Studio Rymden in Stockholm with musicians Anton Svanberg and Emma Augustsson, both talented musicians and arrangers who also contributed to the previous album, “A Run Through the Forest” released in 2025 (Ryggen Fri Records).
