Fusing R&B, jazz, soul and funk, keyboard master Brian Auger created a new genre of music that of music that conquered the United States and the United Kingdom. The Auger's unique experimentation culminated in a funk jazz steeped in rhythm that united black and white audiences in the 1970s. The 6 studio albums that make up Complete Oblivion illustrate the diverse musical influences and progression of the group, from the heavy jazz-rock of the 1970 self-titled debut to the jazz fusion, Latin and to the disco of 1975's Reinforcements. Remastered from the original studio tapes original studio tapes by Bill Smith at United Archiving, Los Angeles. Faithful reproductions of the original album covers by Jaffa of The Unknown. The booklet contains rare photos, posters and the complete interview complete interview with Brian by Sarah Gregory.
