2005 unofficial LP collecting rare demos by the most unusual and great LA punk / synth-wave band, no guitars and refusal of making recordings available. Blue cover (with Gary Panter logo) and black vinyl edition.

condition (record/cover): EX / EX- (light creasing) Second pressing on black vinyl with black and blue album jacket. Second pressing with black and blue jacket. The Screamers never released an official record during their existence, making them L.A. punk's great lost band - legendary for their live performances but undocumented until this posthumous compilation. These demos show exactly why they were so influential: synthesizer-driven punk with Tomata du Plenty's theatrical vocals and claustrophobic energy, no guitars at all. K.K. Barrett and David Brown created waves of electronic noise while Tomata delivered lyrics about urban alienation and sexual politics. The sound was ahead of its time - imagine Suicide meets early Devo with West Coast art-school sensibility. Black vinyl, light creasing on cover. Essential listening for understanding Los Angeles punk's experimental wing.
