Parbleu is a five-piece from Naples led by Andres Balbucea and Andrea De Fazio, and this single is the first look at the music they have been working on for several years, a Mediterranean dance music built on equatorial grooves.

Elegua is named after the Orisha of crossroads and destiny in the Santería tradition. Layered Afro-Caribbean percussion and circling harmonies rest on warm analogue synthesizers, the vocals follow the call and response of Yoruba praise chants, and a girls' choir and a children's choir from the MAMA Music Academy give the piece its ceremonial lift. Peut-être Fous is a steadier club track: a funk electric bass doubled by synth bass, plucked lines on the ngoni, the West African string instrument, classical guitar and synthesizers, close to a tropical disco. Recorded at Godfather Studio in Naples, mixed by Luigi Scialdone, mastered by Tapetodisc, artwork by Ivan Ferrara.

7" single.
