Gianluca Podio is a Roman composer and conductor who has scored films and worked extensively for television; Lettere ("Letters") on Twins Records is a library album from his earlier career, a suite of pieces organised, as the title suggests, as correspondence, each cue a message in a different register. Piano and electronics predominate, with a chamber sensibility that sets it apart from the funk-driven Roman product of the same years.
Twins was a small publisher and the record is scarce. Original pressing.
