All Ages is the sixth album by Lorenzo Senni, the Italian artist who built his language by isolating and suspending the build-ups of trance and rave ('pointillistic trance'), and his first since Scacco Matto (2020). This time he looks at those electronic genres through the lens of hardcore punk, and of the culture around it: skateboarding and straightedge. Senni calls it an 'internal revolt', a way of breaking his own self-imposed limits and getting back to the enthusiasm of making music.

For the first time he uses vocals, his own and those of his guests. The opening 'Art Life & Skateboarding' sets an urgent, dramatic trance pulse under spoken passages by the American skateboarders Chad Muska and Jamie Thomas; Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu appears on 'La Persuasione e La Rettorica', named after the book by the philosopher Carlo Michelstaedter. Eleven tracks, from 'Smile Through Tears' and 'Jealous Of Michelangelo' to 'Your Favourite DJ', 'XGood Clean FunX' and 'KILL LIES ALL'.

Black vinyl LP on Warp in a paper inner sleeve, with a stencil insert.
