KCRW Session documents Oneohtrix Point Never bringing his Age Of material into a live broadcast environment and letting it mutate. Recorded on October 23, 2018 for KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic in Los Angeles, the session captures Daniel Lopatin’s MYRIAD Ensemble the day after they presented their multi‑media MYRIAD show at Walt Disney Concert Hall. The lineup - Lopatin on lead vocals, keys, synth and daxophone, Kelly Moran on keys and synths, Aaron David Ross (ADR) on synths, triggering and FX, Eli Keszler on drums and percussion, with Gabriel Schuman as musical technical director - sets the stage for a band‑driven re‑interpretation of previously studio‑bound tracks. Warp Records later selected four highlights from that broadcast and issued them in 2019 as the KCRW Session EP, part of their TX/WXAXRXP series celebrating the label’s 30th anniversary.
